What is a titanium Lap Joint Flange?
The titanium lap joint flange is a simple annular flange with a suitable surface. Sliding flanges can be produced with welded hubs. As the name implies, these flanges slip over the pipe and mate with another slip-on flange or a blind flange with a similar surface. The internal pressure holding strength of the sliding flange is almost 2/3 of that of the weld neck flange, and the fatigue life is about 1/3 of that of the weld neck flange.
